Hendrickson HatchCatch & Release Fly Fishing Tournament

Registration:
Anglers will meet at the Malone American Legion 53 Morton St. between 8am and 9:30
am Saturday morning for registration. Pre-registration is suggested, as participation will be limited to 75 anglers. Between 9:30 am and 10am, there will be a review of the rules, and anglers will be paired with their partners.
Fishing will take place on the Salmon River between Chasm Falls Dam and State Route 37 in Westville, NY. Maps of the Salmon River will be available to the participants. Access to the river must be public and legal. Please respect all posted signage and private property. Fishing licenses are required for all anglers ages 16 and up.

• Dinner at the Legion Hall 53 Morton St.
Saturday 4pm - 6pm
• Luncheon and Awards Sunday 2pm at the American Legion
Plaques will be awarded to the top three anglers based on the total accumulated number of inches of their largest five trout caught and released during the tournament. A plaque will also be awarded to the angler with the longest fish caught and released. Beginning in 2025, "Hall of Fame" inductions will be added to the awards to recognize those long-term contestants that have placed first, second, or third in previous years' tournaments at least five times. Hall of Fame awardees will be asked to continue to fish in the tournament and help mentor other contestants and/or partner with other contestants, but no longer compete themselves and no longer hand in their tally booklets.
All registered anglers will be entered in a drawing for a chance to win door prizes.
